than pixels shaped into words, 
encrypted secret zeros and ones, 
fading with the screen's light.
I want more than messages, 
random thoughts sent through wires, 
however sweet and delicious, 
arriving without a soft caress.
I want your laughter in the air, 
not just letters spelling it out, 
your scent in my lungs, 
our bodies close, your voice real.
I want more than words.
